Dr. Benjamin Baranes
Dr. Benjamin Baranes is a comprehensive restorative and implant dentist with over eight years of clinical experience and advanced training in full mouth rehabilitation, implant surgery, and complex aesthetic dentistry.
Born and raised in Paris, France, Dr. Baranes discovered early in life the profound impact dentistry can have on a person’s confidence and quality of life. After witnessing a compassionate dentist care for his brother with autism, he knew he wanted to dedicate his career to changing lives through exceptional dentistry.
At 18, he moved to the United States to pursue that vision. He completed his undergraduate studies at UC Santa Barbara before earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, where he served as Vice President of the Special Care Dentistry Association.
Since then, Dr. Baranes has focused heavily on advanced post-doctoral training, becoming an Implant Pathway Fellow and continuing extensive education in:
- Surgical implant placement and bone grafting
- Full arch and full mouth rehabilitation
- Advanced occlusion and comprehensive treatment planning
- Complex aesthetic and smile reconstruction cases
His approach to dentistry is comprehensive and long-term focused. Rather than treating isolated teeth, Dr. Baranes evaluates the entire oral health — structure, function, bite, and aesthetics — to create durable, beautiful outcomes that stand the test of time.

Outside of the practice, Dr. Baranes enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He is an avid sports fan and passionate about exploring Denver’s culinary scene.
Dr. James Downs
Dr. James Downs went into the field of dentistry with the mission of healing his own smile. At the age of 16, he was kneed in the jaw during a soccer game. The hit left him unconscious on the field with two fractures on his jaw and two missing teeth. This painful injury slowly began to hinder his overall health and quality of life, leading him to countless dental continuing education programs to find the best way to restore his bite.
Today, Dr. James Downs is recognized as a key opinion leader and expert in comprehensive restorative dentistry. He received his degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, and has been changing lives through strong, glowing smiles ever since. In addition to caring for patients here in Denver, Dr. Downs lectures throughout the United States and Europe for the Dr. Dick Barnes Group, one of the top continuing education programs in dentistry.
Dr. Downs’ personal experience as a patient allows him to provide the most compassionate, encouraging care for the people who walk through his doors. He takes the time to step into each person’s shoes, relate to their challenges, and champion their dental goals with effective, customized solutions.
In his spare time, Dr. Downs loves traveling to scenic destinations in his RV, fishing, golfing, and making memories with his incredible kids.
Dr. Brian Minavi
Dr. Brian Minavi was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Texas A&M University at College Station and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston 2016. Dr Minavi completed his Endodontics residency at the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston.
Dr. Minavi is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, the Hispanic Dental Association, Spear Dental Study Club, and the American Dental Education Association. Dr. Minavi is dedicated to bringing quality care and comfort to all his patients here in beautiful Denver, Colorado.
